WeKen

WeKen is dedicated to providing college students at the University of Michigan with a guide to all the entertainment and social events happening on campus.  The definition of Ken is one's range of knowledge or sight.  WeKen truly enhances a student's knowledge about events going on on campus. Through public message forums where students can post events, and through our customized calendar, students will be able to find unique events on any given day.  We are looking to provide a much more interactive platform with a social media element (following, inviting, sharing, commenting) embedded in how we want users to look for events on/around campus.  Through surveys we have found out that students are overwhelmed due to information being widely dispersed and inaccessible.  WeKen will eliminate this problem.
